Challenges for the Commercialization of
Regenerative Medicine in Japan

To promote the commercialization of Regenerative Medicine Products, the Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine and the revision of Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, came into effect on November, 2014. And last year, two new products were approved and reimbursed under the new legislation. However, several challenges for the commercialization still exist in Japan. In this session, from the outside of the industry, lecturers will give their explanation on the challenges and try to find the solution.
