Japan’s life science sector is open for business and innovation. The government of Japan has implemented a series of regulatory reforms to create more opportunities for business and innovation in Japan. Japan’s changes include deregulation, subsidization, and introduction of an expedited approval process for certain medical products such as regenerative medicine. This seminar will provide a deeper understanding of the new Japanese regulatory environment and case studies of market entry into Japan as well as discuss current trends regarding open innovation.
