【S-4】 Kanagawa Prefectural Government

Technologies Starting from Kanagawa Open a New Door to the World of Regenerative Medicine and Cell Therapy
-Potential of Muse Cells as a New Type of Pluripotent Stem Cells—

Kanagawa Prefectural government is carrying out various initiatives for industrialization of regenerative and cell therapy, as shown in the launch of Life Innovation Center in April 2016 as an industrialization hub of this advanced field.
This seminar will introduce the latest trends of practical application of innovative regenerative and cell technologies, and how such application efforts will change society and bring hope to patients.
This year the seminar will focus on Muse cells, a new type of pluripotent stem cells which are able to differentiate into various types of cells. Discussion will involve research and development, and practical application of Muse cells for treatment of various diseases.
